Maplus Liquid BP1 Cold is formulated for all snow types with low humidity (under 30%): snow temperature -22°C. to -9°C, iron temp. 150°C to 160°C. Super efficient application and no scraping required! Ideal for racing in the presence of low humidity or as a base before applying perfluorinated waxes.

COLD APPLICATION PROCEDURE WITH MANUAL CORK AND BRUSH

  1. Drip the ski wax or spread it with a paintbrush to cover roughly 15 cm of the ski base;
  2. Spread immediately the paraffin on the ski base by rubbing and pressing with the manual cork (useful the brush cork/nylon MT0111) and repeat the same procedure on the whole ski base;
  3. Wait at least 15 minutes for the ski wax to harden;
  4. Free the ski side and edges side from hardened paraffin with the plexy scraper;
  5. Brush the ski base with movement forward and backward by pressing with a manual hard nylon brush;
  6. Brush the ski base with a manual or roto hard horsehair brush;
  7. Polish the ski base with a manual or roto soft nylon brush.

HOT APPLICATION PROCEDURE WITH WAX IRON AND TEFLON SHEET

  1. Drip the ski wax or spread it with a paintbrush to cover roughly 15 cm. of the ski base;
  2. Spread immediately the paraffin on the ski base by rubbing and pressing with the manual cork (useful the brush cork/nylon MT0111) and repeat the same procedure on the whole ski base.
  3. Melt the paraffin by use an iron with a sheet of teflon between iron sole plate and base.
  4. Wait at least 15 minutes for the ski wax to harden and the ski base to cool down;
  5. Free the ski side and edges side from hardened paraffin with the plexy scraper;
  6. Brush the ski base with movement forward by pressing with a manual or rotor brass or bronze brush;
  7. Brush the ski base with a manual or a roto hard horsehair brush;
  8. Polish the ski base with a manual or a roto soft nylon brush.
