If using only one brush Buff Hard Nylon is ideal as a final brush to buff and polish the base after scraping wax. German-made Tools4Boards brushes are the finest quality available made using only beech wood, premium bristle materials and feature a natural beeswax finish (instead of paint) to reduce impact on the environment. Brushes should be used with overlapping strokes in one direction (shovel to tail) to open the base structure, assist in cleaning the base, prepare the base for optimal wax absorption and to buff and polish the base. For best results 3 different brushes should be used in the following order: 1) steel or brass/bronze to open base structure before waxing and immediately after scraping wax from the base; 2) horsehair as the middle brush after scraping to sweep debris created using steel, brass or bronze brush, and 3) nylon as a final brush to buff and polish the base.
